• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Provision of Audit Services IRI would like to invite qualified audit firms to: • Perform an annual audit of IRI Sudan Field Office book of accounts for the previous 12 months as required by HAC: o Verification and review of Field Office compliance with Sudanese laws, rules, and regulations; o Verification of the expenditures and adequacy of supporting documents; o Verification of applicable policies, accounting transactions, bank/cash operations, internal control and approvals; o Assistance in preparation and submission of reports required by law to the government. • Issue an independent Auditor-s Report that includes, but is not limited to, the following: o An opinion (or disclaimer of opinion) as to whether the Financial statements present fairly in all material respects; o A report on internal controls which shall describe the scope of testing of internal controls and the results of the tests; o A schedule of findings and questioned costs that includes a summary of the auditor-s results; o A statement on the organization-s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; o A statement on whether the financial statements and supporting documents of IRI Sudan fairly present the cash receipts and expenditures in all material respects and that the funds were used for the purposes defined by the IRI Sudan program; and o Issue management letter summarizing all findings Requirements: • Must have at least five years in operation; • Must be based in Sudan; • Must have and provide proof of active business license;. • Must be registered Certified Public Accountants; • Must have and provide Tax Registration Certificate; • Must allocate adequate and experienced personnel; • Must provide CVs for proposed audit personnel; • Submit for reference a list of similar credible international NGOs applicant is or has been engage within last 3 years; • Experience in auditing financial statements based on IPSAS - accrual basis (preferred); and • Experience in auditing financial statements based on U.S. GAAP standards (preferred)
