- United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Sudan, seeks the interest of qualified vendors and Service Providers to participate in an upcoming tender solicitation for the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Thirteen Solar Power Systems and Protective Fencing in Hassahissa, Greater Medani, and Central Gezira Localities in Sudan.The project aims to to improve access to safe drinking water for returnees and vulnerable communities in some of the most affected neighbourhoods, as well as villages and towns located in Hassahissa, Greater Medani, and Central Gezira Localities. The scope of works shall include but not limited to:a) Hassahissa, Greater Madani, South Gezira) localities-Supply, delivery, and installation of solar-powered systems, to operate 12 existing water wells with a product of approx 25 to 30 cubic meters per hour at a total head of approx 40 to 50 m.-Supply, delivery and installation of Solar power generation and control systems (panels, inverters, batteries, etc.) - Power Rating of approx 550W per panel and Solar pump inverter - off-grid, Capacity of approx 11 kW and 7.5 kW and Input Voltage of approx 150-450V.- Installation of Protective fencing - including foundation works, re-inforcement bars, barbed wire, fence doors etc.b) Al Awaida at Hassahissa locality:-Supply, delivery, and installation of solar-powered systems, to operate one existing water well with a product of approx 2...
